The estate
Quinta da Casaboa is a family-run estate dedicated to producing high-quality wines using traditional methods. Established in the 18th century, it is located 40 km from Lisbon. We primarily use indigenous grape varieties across our entire range.
The estate has been in the family for three generations. The grapes are sourced from 50 hectares of vineyards. A significant part of its production is exported.
The tour
The tasting includes a guided tour of the vineyards, winery, gardens, chapel, and main house. Along the way, we reveal some secrets from over 200 years of history, production methods, and innovative experiments.
Enjoy the tour and choose the best angles to capture your photos, both on your phone and in your mind.
Wine tasting
Learn how we select the grapes and decide on the blends. Challenge your and discover the aromas. Two programs to choose from (see below), both including wine pairings with a selection of cheeses, cured meats, and local desserts.
Stimulate your curiosity and come tasting, among others, a red wine that aged for 8 months at the bottom of the sea and a white wine aged for 10 years in the bottle.
