Alicante Bouschet and Touriga Nacional
Descption
Vineyards planted in clay-limestone soils of basaltic origin in Runa, in the Lisbon region. The climate is Atlantic, contributing to the production of fresher, more mineral wines.
Tasting Notes
A violet-colored wine with complex aromas of spices, blackberries, and blueberries. It is a well-rounded wine with structured tannins. The palate is rich in spices and wild berries. Vinified in stainless steel tanks with cold temperature control for 10 to 12 days. Aged for 14 months in Portuguese oak barrels (Alicante Bouschet) and French oak barrels (Touriga Nacional).
Pairing
Perfect to pair with game dishes, grilled meats, and even chocolate cake.
