We made an appearance at the "Heróis do Mar" festival

From October 3 to 6, 2024, the "Heróis do Mar" event took place for the first time—an initiative aimed at celebrating fish and seafood. It was held at Doca da Marinha in Lisbon and brought together around two dozen national and international chefs, along with cooking classes, talks, banquets, guided wine tastings, a market, and concerts.


Quinta da Casaboa was present with its wines Bendita Hora (white wine made of Alvarinho e Arinto, aged in the bottle for 10 years ) and Anfíbio, the first wine of Lisbon aged in the sea.


The event featured delicacies prepared by renowned chefs such as José Avillez, Justa Nobre, Kiko Martins, Vítor Sobral, João Oliveira (from Vista), Vincent Farges (from Epur), among others.


The event was produced by Essência Company, an initiative of the company managing Doca da Marinha. It was supported by Turismo de Portugal and the Associação de Turismo de Lisboa, with sponsorship from Vinhos de Lisboa.
